Vintage set of 2 African hand-woven  sisal and sweetgrass baskets. Sisal fiber is extracted from the plant, hand-dyed and woven with ability and patience around the sweetgrass. It typically takes two days to create each work of art and they are typically made by local female artisans. Each basket has a loop on the back making it easy to hang on a wall.
